Thanks all. I’m back up here in West Seattle. Looking at 3.42 down and 3.98 up 65 msec ping at idle and no packet loss here.

Just following up, the Buck site is back online now. Some work was done the previous week at the site and moved around some things. After ensuring everything was plugged and power cycling the sector, it came back. While onsite, we also replaced the R1 router and cleaned up things, the new router provides POE control for the sector/PtP radios. Rob and I spent a while doing site planning for re-directing the old Gold PtP next spring, which will add redundant paths to the site again and maybe use it as a jump off point for another.

Thanks
Kenny

Recall that I am 1.69 miles line of sight from the location and can perhaps lend a hand if needed. I have scheduling constraints, but maybe could help out.

Kenny,

Let me know what you find out for doing a site visit – there’s a lot up there that needs to be looked at and cleaned up. Some Gold references to be cleaned up and documentation/DNS to be updated, label the R1 port that S2 is using/etc.

David,

It appears only the sector (the radio clients connect to) is down, the rest of the site seem OK. I am not able to access it via any of the normal methods right now, which means a site visit is probably needed. We have not been able to access the site for over two years now due to COVID and other issues. I'll reach out to our site contact and see if we can schedule something before the weather turns this fall.

Thanks

Kenny

Thanks for the report. The site is clearly not totally down but there does appear to be some issue to investigate.

Will report back to this thread once we have had a chance to do so.

Is Buck Mtn down? I have not had a connection for about a day.

The K7DK UHF repeater is still operating.
