Rob,
At this point, while the evidence is pointing to the UPS, we’re not certain that it’s at fault, so I’m not sure it’s a safe bet to start the replacement hunt yet. We have an old non-networked UPS model on site that we can use on a temporary basis if it is in fact determined to be a UPS failure. At that point we can look at the preferred replacements and try to hunt one down.
For the sake of curiosity, the current UPS is a Tripplite double conversion model with a web management card. If it were to be found broken, there’s some discussion/research required before we’d say we want the same or something different long term.
