Tom,
You're welcome. I appreciate all of your and your team's efforts to create this ad hoc network! Very cool stuff. I can meet next week when I'm back in town.
Thanks, Paul

Paul,
If my math is right, two of those will give us around three days of runtime (with only three radios, it's a light-duty site). That should be plenty. I can pick them up whenever.
Thank you for your support!
Tom

Hello Tom,
I still have not had a minute to get my antenna mounted. When I do, I will let you know and we can find a time to tune it in.
Yes, I do have some batteries I could donate. They are model # 12HX205-FR from Enersys.com. See attached data sheets and pic. They are used but good condition. Smaller that the last set of 154Ah batteries at 44Ah, but still effective and just as free. :) Let me know how many you think it would take to support the load per the installation.
Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul,
Do you have any batteries you'd like to donate for Baw Faw? Two would allow us to do a 24V system with reasonable capacity. This will form our (new!) backhaul to Portland, so backup power would be pretty valuable.
Tom

HamWAN board,
Please vote on the following expenses to build out the Baw Faw site. We have approval to install two dishes and one sector. Baw Faw has line of sight to Capitol Peak (dish #1) and high points around the Portland area (dish #2). The sector will point toward Chehalis.
