[HamWAN PSDR] EOC Dish/Radio for Seattle EOC - Beacon Link

Hi John,

We would be happy to help you get the Vashon Island EOC connected to
HamWAN, and hope that you might get a VoIP Telephone so that you can join
in on the HamWAN VoIP voice network.
We have VoIP phones in Seattle EOC, and our friends in Snowhomish Co EOC
have VoIP phones as well. Our goal is to get Camp Murray with HamWAN and
VoIP phones soon.

Re Equipment...

I like the Mikrotik DynaDish5-International radio and antenna.
It has good gain, less parts to assemble, and seems durable.

At Seattle EOC we are on the HamWAN backbone, so we have high performance
antennas.
Mikrotik mANT30 2ft 30dBi dish
Mikrotik Sleeve30 shielding (if you have more than one HamWAN or 5GHz link
at your location)
Mikrotik RouterBoard RB912UAG-5HPnD-OUT (radio with weatherproof box)
or
Mikrotik RouterBoard RB912UAG-5HPnD (radio board, no case)
RF Elements Station Box SBX-S-CC-2SMA (case for above)
