Hi Nigel
So, the process of setting up a node would be using one of the Mikrotik hardware listed and set it up in AP mode using 5.9 GHz and plug it into network?

Kun,
Effectively yes, you would need to set a fixed frequency and channel width for the AP side, the clients are configured to scan over the HamWAN scan list. Then set the mode to ap-bridge instead of station.
There’s a fair bit more that goes into all the backend routing with the rest of the network, but as far as a test setup and getting something a client could connect to, it’s fairly straightforward.

Hi
I am currently not in your coverage. However, I want to have some understanding of the system engineering. I am thinking about setting up one “provider/cell” site in my backyard. I can’t find any details on how to do that. Any information would be appreciated. For those hardware listed in “client hardware”, could they be tuned to providing service?
Thanks
Kun
