The generic name for the connectors that have holes to feed wires
through looks to be "Pass Through RJ45".
And the reason I'm selecting these right now is because they allow for
the shield + drain wire to be pushed as deep as possible into the
connector. The ones we used to use (TC-CON by UBNT) have blind holes,
and you'd have to cut the conductors to just the right length, otherwise
you couldn't get the shield in there. So we gave up on shield contact
and crimped drain wire only. But that left suboptimal mechanical
connections between the cable and RJ45.
If you're buying crimping gear for these, buy the genuine Platinum Tools
crimper (~$100), and to go with it, the Klein Tools VDV110-261 stripper
(~$15). 1 turn of that stripper takes off the jacket, but doesn't cut
the shield at all.
